      <title>National Maternity Strategy Implementation Plan</title>
      <link>http://hdl.handle.net/10147/622615</link>
      <description>Title: National Maternity Strategy Implementation Plan
Authors: HSE National Women and Infants Health Programme
Description: Ireland’s first National Maternity Strategy, “Creating a Better Future Together” provides a clear vision and direction as to how Irish maternity services will be developed, improved and made safer over&#xD;
the coming years. It will ensure that women are front and centre in all decisions about their care. The aim of the Strategy is to ensure that every woman will be able to access the right level of care,&#xD;
from the right professional, at the right time and in the right place, based on her need. Accordingly, it proposes a new model of integrated care comprising three care pathways – supported, assisted&#xD;
and specialised. Implementation of the Strategy will be led by the HSE National Women and Infants Health Programme. To progress this work, the Programme has developed this detailed&#xD;
Implementation Plan. The Plan is presented under the Strategy's four strategic priorities and details how each of the 77 actions will be implemented, on an incremental basis. The Plan represents&#xD;
another essential building block to provide a consistently safe and high quality maternity service.</description>
