This report was commissioned by the Health Research Board (HRB) which contracted Thomson Reuters (Evidence) to conduct a bibliometric analysis of HRB-supported publications between 2000 and 2012. This report analyses trends in research output and citation impact (Section 4) using HRB-supported journal papers. These are articles, reviews and some peer-reviewed proceedings papers used in citation analyses. It analyses the performance of HRB-supported papers by HRB strategic pillar areas and funding schemes (Section 5) and Web of Science? journal categories (Section 6).
