The Institute plans to build on its existing commercial base to develop a major commercial enterprise employing 2,000 people in a range of approximately 20 businesses. This employment will be evenly split between able bodied and disabled workers, providing up to 1,000 jobs for those currently unemployed and a further 1,000 jobs for those disabled people who are fully trained but unable to secure open employment. This plan will commence in 1994 with Phase 1 and will be fully developed over a 10 year period, reaching completion in 2003.en_GB
